Quench
04:10
|
|||
When water ceases to quench my thirst,
poisons appear refreshing and smooth
But they rot at my insides and eat at my roots
Tasty and deadly and withering fruits
It's water fresh that I am longing for
Uncharted depths keep me coming for more.
Parts of the stream I've still yet to taste, Lord
Lead me to the secret shores
You are sweet, sweet flowing water
I'm satisfied as I drink the life
In your deep, deep holy river
I’m purified as I come alive
And as I drink of the living streams,
It stirs up a river within
That cleanses my soul and then rushes forth,
alive and flowing again
You are sweet, sweet flowing water
I'm satisfied as I drink the life
In your deep, deep holy river
I’m purified as I come alive
You are sweet, sweet flowing water
I'm satisfied as I drink the life
In your deep, deep holy river
I’m purified as I come alive
Drink in deep, the living streams
Oh so sweet, the life you bring
Drink in deep, the living streams
Oh so sweet, the life you bring
You are sweet, sweet flowing water
I'm satisfied as I drink the life
(Drink in deep)
In your deep, deep holy river
I’m purified as I come alive
(the living streams)
You are sweet, sweet flowing water
I'm satisfied as I drink the life
(Oh so sweet)
In your deep, deep holy river
I’m purified as I come alive
(the life you bring)
As I come alive
As I come alive

Foxes and Birds
04:04
|
|||
If home is where the heart is,
my home is here with you.
My comfort in this world
I dare not hold onto
Home is not a cozy structure
built with human hands
I am just a stranger in
these foreign distant lands
but I'm at home in your presence
Yes, I'm at home in your presence
If home is where the heart is,
my home is here with you
My comfort in this world
I dare not hold onto
The only thing I ask of you,
the one thing I pursue,
is to dwell in the house of God
all my days
'cause I'm at home in your presence
Yes, I'm at home in your presence
Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests,
But the son of man has no place to rest his head
Still I'll follow you with all that I have left
Until I fade and take my dying breath
You said, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests,
But the son of man has no place to rest his head."
Still I'll follow you with all that I have left
Until I fade and take my dying breath
And I'm finally at home in your presence
Yes, I'm at home in your presence
I'm at Home

Pearls
03:57
|
|||
I received your life
when for all I've done its death deserved
My filthy rags washed with perfect blood
Now your living water
rushes through me like a flood
Now your living water
rushes through me like a flood
Ooh, You saved me
Ooh, You gave me life
Behold, the new has come
The old has died
The old has died
I was just a worm birthed from the dirt,
but from the silk again I've emerged
Now a flying monarch
in this holy kingdom come
Now a rightful monarch,
with inheritance of royal blood
Ooh, You saved me
Ooh, You gave me life
Behold, the new has come
The old has died
The old has died
The filthiest grit when swallowed up
by your loving kindness and your gentle touch
can produce a pearl to show the world
that Your grace outweighs the greatest sin
Ooh, You saved me
Ooh, You gave me life
Behold, the new has come
The old has died
The old has died
The old has died

Life Without
02:50
|
|||
Life without you Lord
is a candle with no flame,
a harvest with no grain,
a child with no name
Life without you Lord
is a sailor lost at sea,
a door without a key,
a throne with no king
Life without you Lord
is a builder with no plan,
a house upon the sand,
a widow with no man
Life without you Lord
is a bastard orphan child,
stranded in the wild,
waiting for a Father
Life without you Lord
is a stranger with no friend,
a stomach with no bread,
Your table with no guest

Mustard Tree
04:35
|
|||
People always talk
of the mustard seed,
but I have yet to see
the mustard tree
Where are all the birds
to perch upon it's branches?
I've planted it deep, kept it from weeds
And tended to its needs
So, how long does it take a tree to grow?
And how much water can one seed hold?
I'm trying to be
sure of what I hope for
and certain of the things
I simply cannot see
I'm trying to be
sure of what I hope for
and certain of the things
I simply cannot see
Oh Jesus, I believe,
help my unbelief
These cold prison walls
shackled to his hands
Those God given visions
still vibrant in his head
Oh, I'm sure those dirty rats
tried to eat up Joseph's dream
But he guarded the seed, a harvest to reap
And waited for the king
So, how long does it take a tree to grow?
And how much water can one seed hold?
I'm trying to be
sure of what I hope for
and certain of the things
I simply cannot see
I'm trying to be
sure of what I hope for
and certain of the things
I simply cannot see
Oh, Jesus, I believe,
Help my unbelief
Oh, help my unbelief
Oh, help my unbelief
So if you say a tree will grow,
from this simple seed, I know
you'll keep your word, you always do
I know that you'll see it through

Pursuit of Joyfulness
04:11
|
|||
Christ is healing,
Freeing, breathing
Life inside of me.
Things I thought would fill my soul
Have left me empty dry and cold
I traded earthly pleasures
For this treasure heaven holds.
I find joy
In You
I find joy
In You
It's not a feeling
Fleeting, fleeing
Temporary glee
When fires come and trials rise
I take my pain and sit with Christ
And somehow in the midst of it
I smile deep inside
I find joy
In You
I find joy
In You
My joy is made complete
In Jesus Christ my king
My joy is made complete
In you alone
My joy is made complete
In Jesus Christ my king
My joy is made complete
In you alone

Wonders
05:09
|
|||
The morning dew lays fresh as yet another day begins
Feathered birds are singing on the currents of the wind
Smooth horizons glow as orange light dispels the night
Crystal streams of water clear are flowing rich with life
A petal dances purple on the air with seamless grace,
And every blade of grass is standing green within its place
Tow'ring trees with twisting roots that grip the earth below
and render life to bending branches lush with fruits of gold
And still these wonders can't express
The depths of the glory you possess
Your voice calls to me from the trees
Your voice echoes deep through the seas
Your voice lights up the sky
Seek and you will find
The ocean endless glistens blue reflecting every ray
As unknown creatures stir within the deep beneath the waves
Mountain spires scrape the sky and cut the clouds in two
Underneath the peaks a liquid fire tunnels through
White and wispy fortresses defying gravity
Pouring rain and thunder rolling watch the lightning flee
And even in the darkness heaven's glory shines
Like a hundred thousand snowflakes gently frozen in the sky
And still these wonders can't express
The depths of the glory you possess
Your voice calls to me from the trees
Your voice echoes deep through the seas
Your voice lights up the sky
Seek and you will find
Well, these oceans leave me empty
And these stars keep me dark
If I cannot know the maker of my soul
And if this world holds such majesty
And wonders of its own
Then how much more will Heaven's home
Oh, the heavens declare, the skies proclaim,
Day after day they speak your name
There is no nation or language
Where their voice is not heard,
As they echo truth and knowledge
Of our God across this earth
Oh, can you hear him calling?
Oh, can you hear him calling?
Seek and you will find
Oh, can you hear him calling?
Oh, can you hear him calling?
Seek and you will find
Your voice calls to me from the trees
Your voice echoes deep through the seas
Your voice lights up the sky
Seek and you will find

Jagged Jars
03:09
|
|||
There is a treasure everyone is chasing
Scouring for truth beneath the sun
It humbles me to know that this gold
Is kept inside of pots made of mud
I sure hope you didn't mistake
porcelain for precious stone
You see we paint these fine ornate designs
In hopes to catch the eye,
But no matter how adorned
Clay will never outshine gold
I'm sorry if you were cut
While reaching in for truth
But don't forsake the treasure
You just got a jagged jar
I'm so sorry if you were cut
While reaching in for truth
But don't forsake the treasure
You just got a jagged jar
You just got a jagged jar
Gold is more than jagged jars

Painter
02:38
|
|||
Grayscale motion picture
With faces cold as stone
Drudging with no purpose
So empty and alone
Smiles hold no wonder
And every eye is dim
Is this life worth living
There must be more than this
Then I met the painter
The artist of us all
Painting on the canvas
Of humble human hearts
A rainbow made of light
Saturates the air
Swirling with delight
And joy beyond compare
I can feel the colors
So deep inside my soul
The art of Holy Spirit
Like wind begins to blow
So, if your days are dreary
So gray and without hope
Just invite the painter
And let the colors flow

In Step
03:49
|
|||
Stumbling through the wilderness
As I try to find my way
Voices try to steer me wrong
And my path begins to stray
Oh Lord take my feet,
They are Yours, Yours to lead
Oh Lord take my feet,
They are Yours, Yours to lead
Following close with every step
The Spirit as my guide
I may not know where the wind will blow
Still I trust you with my life
Oh Lord take my feet,
They are Yours, Yours to lead
Oh Lord take my feet,
They are Yours, Yours to lead
Oh Lord take my feet,
They are Yours, Yours to lead
Oh Lord take my feet,
They are Yours, Yours to lead
